Hohoho.. I’m back with movie quotes. Finally forced myself to stay up to finish where I left off  “Love and Other Disasters” starring Brittany Murphy. Cute movie, cute cast. The storyline is simple and easy to follow; nothing that spirals you to confusion. But now it’s time for me to wonder why he insisted I watch this. I shall now look into the essence of the movie and decipher the message conveyed…. in my sleep. Goodnight babies.

China is doing their bit to improve their English come Olympic 2008 in Beijing.  Well, we’ve seen those forwarded emails of Chinese menus directly translated to English in restaurants. Makes you wonder if ‘Salty Egg King Steams the Vegetable Sponge’ is any good. How about a ‘Big bowl of fresh immerse miscellaneous germ’. I don’t know about you, but germs does sound pretty appetizing. Not forgetting, FRESH.

While it may seem a little far-fetched that such horrendous translations do exists, they actually DO exist. Daddy is in China staying at an American hotel chain. He emailed my sis and I a picture of a signage on the hotel manager on duty. His name is Mr Yee.

Sara’s sucha big girl now. Mommy tells me that she’s no longer a baby and can feed herself and all that. Wow-wee! That’s her on a flight to Malaysia. Sara’s expecting a baby sis in June.

Fisher Price came out with the perfect marketing gimmick – The Top Secret Elmo. You won’t know what’s in the box but when you attempt to open it, you can hear Elmo giggle. Could scare the shit out of anyone because automatically, you’d think of Chucky.
